Here we are! The beginning of a new year! I think I will call 2020 from here on out “the-year-that-shall-not-be-named”. I am making the choice to leave that year behind with a smile on my face. It’s not been an easy year by any means.
As a small business owner, it’s been a rough. There’s been times of uncertainty, tears(lots of them), fear, an uneasy feeling & questioning if I will survive to next month, but then also positively growth.
These last few months have been especially difficult, that will be a story for another day.
The choice I am making & have made is to forge ahead, despite all the roadblocks & obstacles that have been put up in front of me.
Things I have learned in “the-year-that-shall-not-be-named”- Resilience, Strength, Change, Authenticity, Friendship. I personally have learned to be more resilient than ever. Have more strength to keep going despite change & fear. Authenticity has shown itself to me in ways that I would have never imagined. Friendship, I can truly say that I have created a small tribe that will lift me up when I am down and give me support & encouragement when I need it.
I am extremely thankful to those that have kept me in business this past year. Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough. I am so very grateful for all of you!
I know there is someone out there that needs to hear this…YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
Dig deep, find your tribe of people, most important…DON’T GIVE UP!
Happy New Year!
